TINCUP Colorado Whiskey is one of the many great brands participating in our September 3st of the Month event. We're thrilled to have them on board and introduce this new Whiskey to our 3sty friends!
Of course, with a whiskey from Colorado, it seemed only natural that there should be a Gold Rush cocktail. Similar to a Whiskey Sour, this cocktail gets its sweetness from honey syrup. Easy to make, you simply dissolve honey in hot water in a 1:1 ratio. It will keep refrigerated for a few weeks, but we doubt it will sit around that long, as you'll be whipping up this cocktail every chance you get!
3 oz TINCUP Whiskey
1.5 oz honey syrup
1 oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice
strip of lemon zest for garnish
In a cocktail shaker with ice, add your whiskey, honey syrup and lemon juice. Shake to chill and strain into glass with a few ice cubes. Express oils from lemon zest over cocktail and drop into glass to garnish.
