Molotov Cocktail

We're gearing up for the 4th with fireworks-inspired cocktails. And before you go saying "that's not a firework, it's a Russian bomb" check this out. See?

Now that we've settled that, let's talk about the drink. It starts with Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka. Made in Texas with real lemon juice, it's kinda perfect for the heat of the summer. And it's vodka, so it's kinda Russian, right?

But the fire of this cocktail comes from something you might just have a bottle of sitting in your freezer right now. Fireball. Yup, that Fireball. Believe it or not, the cinnamon and lemon taste pretty good together. See, it's not just for shots.

And like the original Molotov cocktail, this drink might just knock you on your ass.

cocktail shaker
rocks glass

2 oz Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka
1 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
.25 oz grenadine

Shake the Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka and Fireball with ice. Hard. Strain into a rocks glass with ice (we like a single jumbo cube for effect) and pour the grenadine on top.
